TRAC FAQs

How do I order TRAC manuals for my trainings?
You can obtain an order form online by clicking on the Order form for additional TRAC manuals. (PDF Format) link. Once the form has been filled out you can fax the form to Debbie Kenyon at 503-838-8150 or mail it to her at the address below. We ask that you allow at least three weeks for delivery. You can also call Debbie at 503-838-8293 or e-mail her at kenyond&wou.edu if you have any questions about ordering manuals or other TRAC materials.
Are the TRAC training videos available on CDs?
The TRAC training videos are available on a CD. If you have not received a CD and are interested in obtaining one please contact Debbie Kenyon at 503-838-8293 or e-mail kenyond@wou.edu. There is no cost for the CD.
Are there alternative schedules available for the TRAC units?
Alternative training schedules have been developed for the Foundation Unit. You can find these schedules at http://centeroninclusion.org/TRACschedules.htm. Included are 4, 5, 6 and 9 day schedules.
Can I give participants a TRAC training certificate even if they do not attend the entire training?
A TRAC Certificate of Completion should only be given to participants who attend the entire training session. You may give participants who do not attend the entire training a Certificate of Participation that indicates the number of hours that they attended, for example, "Susie Smith has completed 12 hours of the 18 hour Foundation for Supporting Children's Learning and Development Unit."
What training data do I need to send to Teaching Research after I complete a training?
Once you have completed a TRAC training, send copies of the following forms (or a summary of the information contained on these forms): Demographic form, Objective Summary form and the Evaluation Form. If you conduct a follow-up visit as part of the Foundation Unit, please also send a copy of the Follow up summary page from follow up packet. Send the information to:

Are there plans for updating the TRAC curriculum?
The TRAC curriculum was last updated in 2004. We are currently exploring options to updating the curriculum in 2010. We are currently updating the Disabilities Unit and would like to update the other units. If you have any specific suggestions for updates on any of the units (including the content, activities, or schedules) you can contact Gary Glasenapp at glaseng@wou.edu.
Who do I contact if I have any questions about TRAC or TRAC training?
Each TRAC trainer has been assigned to a Teaching Research staff member who is responsible for providing technical assistance to that trainer. If you do not know who your assigned contact person is you can contact Gary Glasenapp and he will provide you with your TRI contacts name and contact information.
